Continuing its tradition of premiering new works, Batraxoi will be presenting the new chamber opera "Sarai" by Lotta Suter and Robert Griffin on October 19th and 20th at the Congregational Church in Mason NH. Based on the Biblical story of Sarai, the wife of Abraham, it continues the series begun with the opera "Yona".

Sarai

The story "A Cradle for the Child", presented on Sunday December 19, 2010 and Sunday January 9, 2011 in the Congregational Church in Mason, NH, has been published in A Cradle for the Child available at the Beinn Ard Publishing page at the Atlas Books site. The Midwife of Bethlehem, illustrated by Elizabeth Auer, is now also available from Atlas Books. It is based on the text of the chamber opera of the same name by Robert Griffin, premiered by Batraxoi in December 2009.
